Lots of TVs and great variety of beer. Comfortable bar, nice service and good music. Like this place and will keep coming back. Even got the Royalty Card.

Decent food. But lots of choices for beers! Fun atmosphere, always a lot of people and opportunities to make new friends.

Best beer, service, and appetizers. Very affordable. Tried the onions rings and pretzel and they are so good. The waitreses are so nice and amazing especially paige definitely coming back

Great place for beers. Its up your alley if you are a jerkoff beer snob. I mean seriously, man up. Stop sniffing your beer. I enjoy the spot. Sometimes has nice eye candy with ladies. But seriously, guys, its just a beer. Your not king of the world because you ordered an IPA or whatever it is. Service could be a tad friendlier but overall not a bad place for a happy hour or later night cap off.

Great selection of beer! Not cheap but good ambience and like 400 beers, 30 or so tap. Service is getting better each visit. Definitely better then the first time I can 3 years ago. Try some of the obscure beers on tap!

This WoB has friendly staff each time I've been there. They might not always have items on tap that are new to me, but there is an extensive bottle list so I can always find something. I've always been able to find seating inside or out. This location is also close to several restaurants so you can easily bring food with you or order some of their (now extended) pub fare menu. Check their Facebook page for weekly events and offers before making plans. They have trivia, karaoke, live bands, and brewery nights.

I love this World of Beer. There are a number of them is general area, but we always have good service at the Altamonte location. There are a wide variety of beers to choose from and the staff is helpful in finding you a new beer or something that is to your liking. They allow you to sample on draft so that you can make sure you will enjoy the beer. There is both inside and outside seating. I tend to sit at the bar so I can see the bottle choices better and I feel that there is quicker service there. World of Beer has a lot of events throughout the months that I have enjoyed going to. Some of my favorites are trivia, football and featured nights. They also offer food which is really nice if you get hungry while hanging out. They have a pretty good selection of basic bar food- chips, sandwiches, a giant pretzel, etc. and sometimes they will have specials to coordinate with a particular beer. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience here for kicking back and relaxing after a long or hard day. I would highly recommend.

If you enjoy exploring the diverse flavor possibilities of beer, World of Beer is a brilliantly executed local chain. They have over 50 mostly craft beers on tap, all of decent to fantastic quality. The draft selection changes weekly, and they have hundreds of different selections available by the bottle. Prices are not inexpensive. They have a mobile app to help you track which beers you've tried and discover what you'd like to try next if you are a member of their loyalty club. The Altamonte location is a simple and somewhat boring layout, but they have the best service. Servers here are not just bartenders or wait staff, they are sommeliers of hops and malt. Jesse and Alyssa at Altamonte are particularly awesome at recommending new beers based on what you have enjoyed in the past.

Great selection of beer and great service. I didn't really like the serving size of the beer mugs. I believe they come in 8 oz and you have to ask before they pour it. Ask questions first.

The staff is great and I like that this location has a small food menu. I don't go here a lot becuase it is a bit pricey, but I do like going there to try new drinks.

Pee-yew!!! My visit here last night was ruined by the constant flow of cigarette smoke into the establishment from their outdoor seating area. Their outdoor area is connected to the indoor area by a large window that can be open during nice weather, which is most of the time in FL, which means I will not be back until smoking is banned from public areas. Beer, prices for beer, and service were A-okay.

Look, I was so ready to roll my eyes at this place--and actually, I think I did upon entering. Alamonte Springs, to a New Englander, feels like a fancy, high-end strip mall where people also live. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of character this place has. And holy-hannah, the beer selection was PERFECT. So many things! From everywhere! We ended up there on a trivia night and had a blast. The food is really, really great--holds up to some of my favorite spots in Boston. And the wait-staff was fun, attentive and just down-to-earth. Was so glad to find a place that felt more like a neighborhood bar than a chain restaurant!

Over all enjoyed my experiences at this bar, but over the past year due to lack of responsibility from the ownership they have allowed a minimal staff at all times which from we heard was so the girls could make more money. Yes this may be good for the staff but it hurts their customer service because wait times become exorbitant for a beer. Now when you complain about this the owners take offense by this and ask you not to come back.... Pathetic. #wobtrip ha

This place is nice for beer lovers. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and draft beer. They also have ciders. I went here on St Patrick's day because they had a lot of specials like: - $3 Car Bombs -$5 Harp and Smithwick's drafts -$6 Guinness and Magners drafts I tried both the car bomb and the Magners' draft. Honestly despite how busy the place was I had a good time and the servers were good. I am want to go back for trivia night on Monday.

I always love coming here! Huge selection of brews and a knowledgeable staff. My lady and I haven't been since they started serving food (a long time, I know) but decided to come after the movies. We sat down and the waitress was attentive and was more than happy to show us their massive list of beer options. The friends we were with told us the food was really good and suggested the pretzel. We were not disappointed. First off, this thing was massive! So good!! One thing I didn't like was that the waitress recommended the beer cheese as a dipper for it but neglected to let us know that it would be an extra charge. Either way, it was delicious! I give them four stars because the service was a little inconsistent as far as ordering. Our first round was super quick, but we waited a little longer than I thought we would for the second and when I mentioned it to our waitress, she didn't really say anything or seem to care, which me and my friends thought was a little weird..... Either way, if you're looking for an incredible beer selection in Altamonte, this is really the only place to go. Tons of taps and bottles! I highly recommend, even though the service can be a little flaky.

Great beer choices. Great staff. Friday nights they have live music that can be so-so. The place is a little small to have live music. If you are trying to meet someone for a date here, avoid Friday nights or sit outside since you won't be able to talk.

Haha! I'm a jerk off beer snob and I love it. Beer smells amazing and adds so much more to the beer experience. Those olefactory senses of mine made my Dogfish Head 120 experience that much better. So much of taste is tied to smell. Ever have a cold? Nothing tastes right. The first thing the folks that really appreciated their beer did was shove their schnoz right into the glass and take a big whiff. It's too bad not everyone can mind their biz and pound their Bud Light. Oh yes I did go there! Anyway... The location is cozy, the staff is like family and the beer selection is outstanding. Sniff on beer snobs! FYI - I'm smelling a Funky Buddha French Toast ale at another beer place right now and it's awesome. In fact everyone here is smelling their beer. I'm among my people.

My first time at any World of Beer and while not life altering it was certainly enjoyable. Tried a draught Lexington Brewing Co Kentucky Kolsch, a soft pretzel the size of my head and for desert, cider. Original Sin hard cider. Not sickeningly sweet like most, but a very earthy aftertaste that balanced it all out. Plenty of big screen TVs on this first football Sunday. Excellent sight lines and audio you could actually hear. As a party of one I certainly didn't need nor demand any attention beyond the norm but everyone was chipping in and "team bussing" tables while giving one to one attention to the patron's orders. I was offered their club deal, a t-shirt... Koozie... And any beer for $15. You get points toward purchases when you do future visits. Worked for me because I will certainly be back.

Average staff, I've been to 35 WOBs and there is one girl that wears glasses with long blonde hair who is more interested in texting her friends, then waiting on the customers. The rest of the staff is average for a WOB. Nice group of patrons! Below average wait staff because their phones are so damn important

Literally sat at the bar with my boyfriend for 10 minutes, and didn't even get a nod, or look from the bartenders. There were 3 bartenders behind the bar. 1 male, 2 females..the bar wasn't even that crowded. The guy literally saw us sitting there. It was almost like they didn't want to be there. Not a warming welcome like most world of beers I've been too. I like to make relationships with bartenders, so I can return & look forward to it! Get new bartenders. Drinks & food were great, so I'll give 2.

Another of the many World of Beer locations...this one had nice sociable beertenders and plenty of TVs to watch football on. The thing I like about this one over the Dr. Phillips location is the fact that they have power outlets conveniently located behind the booths. They also have a partial menu if you get hungry, in addition to allowing you to bring food in from the outside. The usual large beer list in addition to various promotions running throughout the week (Hospitality night, College Night, etc.) make this place a solid location for beer drinkers in the Altamonte area.

I went to World of Beer about a week ago, and its vibe was just about perfect. Laid back, centered around beer with tremendous selection, and decent pub food. The food available was clearly well suited for the flavor of beer, with smallish portions to allow more room for the beer. I had both the onion rings and the brat sliders. Delicious on both accounts. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the service. The wait staff made itself rare and missed an item on one of our orders. However, since the bar is easily accessible, we could always get a fresh glass of beer.

Been here twice the first time we ordered two drafts and the German pretzel, it was huge, warm and great it had two sauces for dipping one of them was cheese. The service was great the staff was friendly. The second time we went they didn't have any of the beers we ordered so we settled for our fourth choice wasn't bad but not what we wanted, not a big deal however we ordered the shrimp appetizer and they were so nasty it wasn't edible we told our server and she said that's how they are....she offered to bring out something else but we would still have to pay for the shrimp(which we could not eat). We ended up closing our tab and leaving. Undecided if I'll be back.

Will not rate this place...Ordered Nachos and they took 45 minutes, oh yeah maybe because they had chicken! No management, Horrible Service! Thank goodness that the T.Vs were everywhere because it kept me calm. Well never recommend anyone to this place. Better bring your own food and not plan on doing anything afterwards because they have no care for you as a Customer!

I was having a pretty good time at the WOB. As a recent loyalty member, I was pretty excited to start collecting beers on my list. We got in, had three beers and a tuscan pizza. The servers were a little slow, but that doesn't bother me too much. Pizza was great! When I got the bill I had a couple questions. It seems as though I was overchargered for a couple beers. $5 instead of $4, no big deal right? I was expecting a "whoops, sorry about that. We will get that changed right away." Instead, the poor waitress has to be a arbitrator between me and the muscle milk manager. Something to do with it being 25% off bottles night, and how they can either overcharge me and give me my deserved loyalty discount OR sell me the beer at the advertised price and give me no discount.(ghee what an offer, I get to pay more either way!) I get CALLED UP TO THE BAR by Steroid Steve to listen to him tell me how it is. He explains his reasoning for advertising a product at one price, then charging another. I say that is too bad, I would like to pay what you have listed here on the menu plus my loyalty discount. He goes, "weren't you here a while back on the patio and ordered the wrong beer and I helped you out?" I look dumbfounded...I've been here twice...and I don't order the "wrong" beer. He goes to the til and get ONE DOLLAR and retorts, "Here man, since I helped you out I'll split it with you out of my pocket." I gave him his dollar back and let him know it wasn't about the dollar, it was about my business and I guess he doesn't want it anymore. It is a real shame when you have an opportunity as a manager to fix a VERY simple issue and "eat" a couple dollars quietly to keep your bar and your customers happy...and you just completely BLOW IT. Check your receipt.

We came here for the Pumpkinfest, so we could try the new seasonal beers and watch some football. We ordered flights and the waitress seemed confused as to which beer was which. We asked her several times and got different answers. We ordered pints after the flight and got the wrong beer, so who knows what we liked and didn't like. Why bother with the flights. We ordered pizza from Tuscan pizza next door and it was good, but the owner of the pizza place was chilling at the bar and scoping out people who ordered his pizza. He followed my friend into the can to ask him how he enjoyed the pizza. Dude, that customer service was way to personal.

This particular world of beer has a nice outside patio. The staff at any world of beer is generally social, knowledgeable and entertaining. This location is not as big as the Lake Mary location, but definitely not as small as the UCF location. The crowd is rather low key and a little bit older.

Great Beer! Probably the largest selection in CFL. Usually the service is slow and the place is crowded. They don't serve food but there are plenty of places to eat in the area to sober up after a couple of stiff pints.
(4)
Keith D.
The worst service EVER! Once my party actually found a table to sit at it took over 30 minutes to get served and after one round of drinks the server decided to never return. I will definitely wont be coming back to this place. Worst experience at a World of Beer.

World of Beer Altamonte is located off 436 in Altamonte Springs, in the Cranes Roost complex. Hubby and I popped in here with friends to enjoy the FB advertised Pumpkinfest with 10+Pumpkin beers on tap and watch some college football. We were lucky enough to grab a table, as it was super crowded with college football viewers. The staff was nice and let us order flights of pumpkin beers, for a slight upcharge from their normal flight price. Sadly, the order of the beers was never clearly/accurately communicated for any of us, so when we went to order a followup pint, the incorrect beers were received. Beers went back and we tried again. Really, if you are serving flights of anything, there should be some type of identifier so the customer can accurately identify what they like and don't like. Service was OK, there should have been atleast one more person working to handle the steady business. Had to wait to order refills and get our check. We were not impressed with the bartenders ability on Guinness pours. My friends hubby was shorted about 2 oz of his 1/2 and 1/2 (Or 1/2 of the Guinness) since the Guinness had not settled at the bar. We ordered pizza from Tuscan pizza next door and it was tasty. TV's were plentiful and easy to watch from anywhere inside or outside.

I really didn't want to like this place. I'm a Redlight Redlight kinda girl. I don't like anything commercial when it comes to beer. Turns out that WoB doesn't either. They offer a very good selection of great beer with outstanding service. They don't offer food, but they welcome any outside food you want to bring in. There are a lot of restaurants you can order food from nearby, so it's easy to just sit down with a meal and have a great beer. Their prices are reasonable, and they have happy hour ($1 off drafts) from open-7 pm. Outside seating is awesome, with TV's positioned in all corners so you don't have to suffer without sports just because you want to enjoy the great weather. I like the rotating drafts and the very extensive beer lists, and they offer wine for "non-beer-drinkers" but I guarantee that anyone who swears they don't like beer can find something they like here!
(4)
Kim O.
Bartender was friendly and they always have a ton of half price beer. I had an enjoyable experience here and would definitely go back. They have a menu that you can order from surrounding restaurants which seemed like a good plan when you find a beer you like and want to stick around to drink. Apparently there is some club you can join to keep track of beers. I can't wait to check out the one in my city!

Good place to come to if you want to enjoy some good craft beer. However the place does get VERY busy and very packed so bringing a group will be a bit difficult.
(4)

Rely like this new location! Not as big or busy as lake Mary which allows a patron to actually get a seat which makes it even better! Only thing I noticed was the live entertainment was nowhere near as good as the dr philips or Heathrow locations. Also the open air concept allows smokers from outside to impact patrons sitting inside thus 4 of 5...

My first time here was this past Sunday after my friends and I saw The Dark Knight Rises at the AMC theatre in Altamonte Springs. I received pretty much the same impression from it as I did the locations in Lake Mary/Heathrow and in Dr. Phillips. I like all of the WoB locations to which I'd been in the past and this one definitely is on the same wavelength as the others. The selection of beer here is (I'm assuming) very similar, if not identical, to that at the other locations. My friend and I each had two Applehead beers, which were very reasonably priced at (I think) $3 apiece. Our server was very cool and friendly. She told us a story about a WoB Loyalty Club member who recently had either his 500th or 600th beer at this location not too long ago. That's some dedication! (Especially seeing as how this location opened, per our server, in March 2012.) Perhaps it was his 500th or 600th beer with WoB, regardless of location. I don't know! Still, that's pretty cool. (I think?) I'd sign up for the Loyalty Club, myself, but I'm not sure that I'd be coming to any WoB locations often enough to make it totally worth my time. I'm not saying that I wouldn't like to be at them ... I just don't go often enough since I like other places, as well. We'll see. As long as the Loyalty Club is free to sign up for, I might as well! I hope to be back to this location or to any of the other ones soon. I wonder how things will be here once football season begins. Beer and football definitely do mix ...

Always enjoy WOB. However the only thing going for this location is the food and the beer. We were there on a Sunday afternoon that was not busy. Wait staff has the short term memory of a fruit fly. Ordered a pretzel and it came in out quickly. Asked for a side a spicy brown mustard. It never came. Then asked our waitress if she should could change the nascar race to the F1 race on NBC and she respond no problem. Wait a few mins as I know other people have to be helped but no channel change and she is just chatting up another table. I wait a little longer and then ask the bartender. She even confirms the channel to change it to after I ask her. However that must have been to much information to retain. She just went right back to pouring beer. At this point we just finish our beers and cash out. I was excited to see dogfish 120 soon to be tapped but unfortunately won't be returning to enjoy any of it.

Fourth time here. HUGE selection of beer. HUGE. They have Abita Purple Haze on tap, which I love. Here to, hopefully, watch the Heat finish off the Thunder. Game's starting. Go here.

Good food, good atmosphere, perfect to watch a game. Plenty of TVs to satisfy even the biggest sports fanatic. Large beer selection (duh!) even though me and my husband stuck with our traditional Stella. Two thumbs up!

I used to be a loyal, weekly, patron...now I may visit once a month, or every other month. I'm a 250 club member so I've spent some time there. I remember how good the service used to be when the servers actually knew about the beers and were passionate about the WOB culture and what they were serving...That's gone though...It is now just being run like any other chain. Profits over quality. I'm always somehow ordering the beer they don't have or waiting for 10 minutes to be acknowledged and sometimes even longer for an order. They've shifted their focus a ton though; they now serve light bites and even liquor. I liked WOB, and couldn't stand Pint. They do have a killer craft beer selection, which you will pay premium prices for...You'll overpay for shit wine if you aren't a beer drinker and I have no idea what kind of prices the cocktails will have, I'm not sure if I want to find out. I'll probably be back on special occasions but that's it.

Best place to get craft beers. You can even get beers to go. Have an awesome loyalty program. Rewards for returning. I've been to 25 different locations and am greeted at all as if I was their favorite customer.

Similar to other World of Beer locations that I have visited, although maybe a little smaller. Prices are about the same and obviously they have a pretty good selection. I would like to see them get in more local beers and seasonal beers as they seem to always just have a few at each WOB. When a new beer comes out, don't expect to find it at WOB until a few weeks later, if they get it at all. That being said they have plenty of varieties and it's easy to find something good. Service is good to above average and prices are decent (about $5 or $6 per beer for most choices). All in all, it's your standard World of Beer, but it's good that they have a craft beer bar in Altamonte now, as there are not many bars like this around here.

Stopped by here after landing in Orlando and meeting up with some friends. Beer list is pretty good, wished they had more drafts though. Service was awesome and the patio is nice place to sit.

Who would have thought a place with no food and only beers would be a total Cougar Town?! I guess I should have known....it's Altamonte for peets sake. The University Blvd World of Beer makes me feel old, this one makes me feel sexy. That, or it's the seven 9% abv beers I've been downing. Even some of the more "seasoned" cougars are starting to look pretty damn good! Oh, check out that one! Not bad from behind, a real comforting motherly quality. Oh shit! It IS my mom! Mom, what the hell you doing at WOB?! Oh thats right. Its Altamonte. At least she'll be willing to buy you the next round, because you always will be her special little champ. Thanks Mom! Cheers!

I like World of Beer. its a decent chain that can expose to a new experience with brews. We joined some friends this past Saturday and being this was a new location, it was very busy. Wall to wall people. They had live music, which some didn't like. I didn't care for them either. Seemed like more people were happy to hear "ok, we're turning the juke box back on". but, whatever, the place was still enjoyable. We sat outside at a couple tables. They seemed very flimsy, so hopefully someone can spot this nightmare thats about to happen. With so many beers, served in various type glasses, you can see the pending disaster. Service was great with all the chaos going on. I understand that WoB doesn't serve food and that allows for smokers, but I wish they would reconsider that. I just prefer to enjoy my beer and conversations without smoke in my face, even out on the patio area.

Have been wanting to come here for some time, it just hadn't happened until last night when I decided that we should go on our way home from dinner. WOW, WOW and WOW!! Killer beer selection and an amazing amount of great beers on tap!! And the prices were very reasonable also. The place was busy with basically standing room only. The staff was great! The people were friendly and we just had a blast. Love the fact that you can bring your dog. Even though they don't serve food, they don't allow smoking inside. I kind of liked that fact. Even with all the people, the place was clean, even the bathrooms. Several tables ordered food from Red Brick Pizza next door. Obviously WOB is helping their business. But I like this fact and said that we'll have to do that sometime ourselves. Great place and atmosphere!!! They also had a duo playing which added a nice air to the place. Will be back very soon!!

Went to this one specifically to get crawfish on Sat. and I must give props where props are due, the crawfish were realllllyyy good!! They gave you plenty on the plate and you were allowed to keep coming back, A+ in my book! I had Abita beer so of course I knew what I was getting, the beer was great! Nice and cold! The waitress couldn't have been nicer. I had my son and his friend with me and they each got a bottled Root Beer, so they thought that was pretty cool! Compared to Lake Mary WOB on Sunday, Altamonte hit it out of the park and made this CAJUN GIRL happy as happy can be!!

I watched and waited and then hit the new WOB in Altamonte during their Leap Year Grand Opening ... let me just say that I was NOT the only one. It was standing room only!! The staff was on the ball, racing around and taking care of business. Although I was originally served by a particular bartender, there was always someone walking by to see if we needed anything. They were more than happy to share their recommendations and offer samples of the various drafts too. As I sat at the bar, in front of the glass-front refrigerator with the bottled drinks display I was overwhelmed at the number of options ... I don't even drink beer, but I counted 23 ciders to choose from ... AMAZING!!! I was thrilled. The place was insanely loud and it was hard to walk around because there were so many people present at the Grand Opening, but it was fun to chat with peeps and try the various flavors. Positive: Lots of choices, Lots of Parking, Friendly Staff, Open til 2am, a new bar in Uptown Altamonte, Denny's is next door if you want the "after clubbing meal", Outdoor patio, Live music Downer: No food, but they allow you to have it delivered and even provide you a list of the nearby restaurants. Bonus: One Sunday month there are Customer Appreciation Cookouts

Great selection of beer and great service. I didn't really like the serving size of the beer mugs. I believe they come in 8 oz and you have to ask before they pour it. Ask questions first.
(3)Christine R.

Great staff and service. Food and atmosphere are spot on, definitely a great spot for good beer and good times

(5)Matt L.

(4)Dustin S.
Great Beer! Probably the largest selection in CFL. Usually the service is slow and the place is crowded. They don't serve food but there are plenty of places to eat in the area to sober up after a couple of stiff pints.
(4)Keith D.
The worst service EVER! Once my party actually found a table to sit at it took over 30 minutes to get served and after one round of drinks the server decided to never return. I will definitely wont be coming back to this place. Worst experience at a World of Beer.
(2)Lisa W.

(4)Kim O.
(4)John P.
Good place to come to if you want to enjoy some good craft beer. However the place does get VERY busy and very packed so bringing a group will be a bit difficult.
(4)Joe G.

Go here.
(3)Alexy R.
Good food, good atmosphere, perfect to watch a game. Plenty of TVs to satisfy even the biggest sports fanatic. Large beer selection (duh!) even though me and my husband stuck with our traditional Stella. Two thumbs up!
(5)Justin J.
(2)Candy C.
Best place to get craft beers. You can even get beers to go. Have an awesome loyalty program. Rewards for returning. I've been to 25 different locations and am greeted at all as if I was their favorite customer.
(5)Jeremy B.
(3)Ronnie E.
Stopped by here after landing in Orlando and meeting up with some friends. Beer list is pretty good, wished they had more drafts though. Service was awesome and the patio is nice place to sit.
(3)Mike S.
Thanks Mom! Cheers!
(3)Keith H.
(4)Carla H.
My husband and I went here one Sunday night and really enjoyed it. The selection was good, the service was great, and the beer was cold. We will be going back soon!
(5)Marc G.
(4)Chad H.
WoB is pricey but its close by and great for a lil treat. Make sure u get a good server...
(4)Erika T.
(4)Melinda M.
(4)Kevin L.
Great beer and great service. Always friendly and helpful.
